Increasing Fame and Hanging On to it

Everyone has their moment of fame. While getting it can take a long time, it isn’t difficult. The issue is hanging on to fame and increasing both it and your PR reach. There are several ways can achieve this.

Standing Out

Being widely known and able to reach out to a large group makes standing out from the crowd necessary. It is not just the famous who have something to offer that makes them one of a kind. For you, being able to stand out means that you need to say and do things that others want to hear. It could be through your clothes, your manner or even your actions. Maintaining and increasing your reputation as well as PR reach makes engaging with others a valuable tool. This allows you to draw attention to what you have to offer them. On the other hand, by not engaging with them they will likely lose interest.

Content

If you want to increase your fame and reach others, the best way of doing this is by offering them something that they value. This means creating high-quality content. It needs to be able to reach the widest audience possible. If you don’t, there is a risk of losing viewers and its reach. One way of reaching the widest group of followers is by making full use of the different functionality that the social media tools have to offer.

Engagement

When it comes to those who follow what you say, the number of followers you have can vary. Connecting with others means getting to know people. Also as you engage with others, if your content is relevant and high-quality, you should see an increase in both your reputation and your reach.

Even if you produce high-quality content, by not posting anything on a regular basis this is not engaging with others. If you want to engage with others and increase your reach, this requires posting many times throughout the day. This does not mean posting the same content. If each time the content is not unique then quality potentially goes down, and your audience starts to drift away.

Experiment

In addition to the things that you know work for you and get you noticed, there are no reasons as to why you cannot maintain and increase your reputation. However, knowing what works will require trial and error since any of the tools you might use have different uses. Normally, you should be able to find what works by experimenting with such things as:

  • Length – How long your post is will depend on the tool you are using to get your message out. By trying different lengths, you can see what works best for getting you noticed.
  • Timing – Experiment by posting at different times until you find one that works best for you and your readers.
  • Type – The social media tools available mean it is possible to use a variety of different kinds of posts. As a result of the type of post you use you should allow you to find one that increases your PR reach.

Measuring Fame

Finally, increasing your reputation and reach means knowing what works and what doesn’t. If you use social media, they have a number of tools available that will allow you to measure whether your messages are reaching your audience. Once you have the information you have a better chance of adjusting what goes out to others.
